By entering The Olive Tree Play Café, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms on behalf of yourself and any children in your care.

1. Acknowledgement of Risk

Children's play naturally involves movement, climbing, exploration, imagination and physical activity.

Whilst The Olive Tree Play Café takes reasonable steps to provide a safe environment, participation in play activities carries an inherent risk of minor accidents and injuries, including slips, trips, falls and collisions.

By entering the premises and allowing children to participate in play activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

2. Supervision and Responsibility

Parents, guardians and accompanying adults remain responsible for the supervision, safety and behaviour of all children within their care at all times.

The Olive Tree Play Café does not provide childcare or supervision services.

Children must not be left unattended anywhere within the premises.

3. Safe Use of the Play Space

Children should use equipment appropriate to their age, size and ability.

Our play space has been designed primarily for children aged five years and under.

Older siblings are welcome within the café seating areas but are not permitted to use the play equipment.

Any unsafe behaviour, rough play or misuse of equipment may result in guests being asked to leave.

4. Health and Hygiene

Children or adults displaying symptoms of illness, including sickness, diarrhoea, fever or contagious conditions, should not attend.

Any accidents, injuries or illnesses occurring on the premises should be reported to a member of staff immediately.

Guests are expected to follow hygiene guidance and instructions provided by staff.

5. Food Allergies

Whilst every reasonable effort is made to manage allergens safely, food and drinks are prepared in a shared environment.

We cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free from allergens.

Customers with allergies or dietary requirements should speak to a member of staff before ordering and must make their own judgement regarding suitability.

6. First Aid and Accidents

Basic first aid may be administered by trained staff where appropriate.

The Olive Tree Play Café will take reasonable steps to maintain a safe environment but cannot eliminate all risks associated with children's play.

Nothing within these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

7. Personal Property

All personal belongings, including prams, bags, coats, mobile phones and valuables, remain the responsibility of their owners.

The Olive Tree Play Café accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence.

8. CCTV and Photography

CCTV operates throughout the premises for safety, security and crime prevention purposes.

Customers may take photographs of their own children but should avoid photographing other children or families without permission.

The Olive Tree Play Café may occasionally take photographs or videos for marketing purposes. Permission will always be obtained before any identifiable images are used.

9. Session Times and Admissions

Entry may be restricted to booked session times.

Late arrival may result in reduced play time.

We reserve the right to close areas of the play space or equipment temporarily for maintenance, cleaning or safety reasons.

10. Refusal of Entry

The Olive Tree Play Café reserves the right to refuse entry or ask customers to leave where:

• Behaviour is unsafe, abusive or disruptive.

• Children are not adequately supervised.

• Equipment is deliberately damaged.

• Our Rules of Play are repeatedly ignored.

• Guests fail to comply with our policies or staff instructions.

No refund will be issued where entry is refused for these reasons.

11. Acceptance

By entering The Olive Tree Play Café, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Entry & Assumption of Risk and agree to supervise all children within your care at all times.
